IDWeek’s IDExpo is the premier show for infectious diseases.

Each year, IDWeek invites organizations in the field of infectious diseases or with products, services, publications and other features and benefits focused on the infectious diseases professional and field to participate in this premier event.

IDWeek gathers ID professionals from around the globe when members of IDSA, SHEA, PIDS, HIVMA and SIDP convene for this cross-specialty meeting featuring scientific sessions, abstract presentations, and IDBugBowl! View the bottom of this page for attendee demographic details.

IDWeek 2023 Industry Partner Prospectus

IDWeek cordially invites industry partners offering products, services and innovations related to the field of infectious diseases to participate in the conference in four ways:

  1. Become an Exhibitor 
  2. Host a CE or non-CE Educational Event
  3. Communicate messages using Promotional Opportunities 
  4. Contribute to the event through Corporate Support Programs

In 2022, IDWeek gathered over 9,500 health care providers, researchers, educators, public health officials and other respected health professionals to collaborate, cooperate, and learn from each other’s expertise at the premier international infectious diseases event welcoming leaders in the field to network and rising leaders to learn from their experiences. IDWeek’s Preview Event

Join us for an industry preview event on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. ET. The Zoom presentation will be recorded and distributed to the industry partners. Request an invite or ask to be added to our database by emailing info@idweek.org.

Industry partners may review the prospectus from 2022 below. It includes exhibitor packages, support programs, CE and non-CE educational events, and promotional options for reaching the attendees.

Speaking Opportunities

Affiliated Events

CE and non-CE educational event hosts provide industry partners the opportunity to share a unique story with the attendees. There are four event types to host and no limit on the number each partner may organize.

2-hours of accredited programming. Events will take place in the convention center or a surrounding hotel. Satellite symposia programming must be accredited by a third-party organization. IDWeek and the society partners will not provide accreditation. Review the opportunities and submit an application.

Other Ancillary Affiliated Events

IDWeek can help secure meeting space for other affiliated events. Any event involving IDWeek participants requiring space at a hotel, the convention center, a nearby restaurant, or venue is an affiliated event. Events can include:

  • Alumni Receptions
  • Exhibitor Staff Meetings
  • Closed Investigator Meetings
  • Advisory Board
  • Interest Groups
  • Other Social Functions

SHEA’s Journal

Target leading professionals in healthcare epidemiology and infection prevention by advertising in SHEA’s scientific journal,  Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology.

PIDS’s Journal

Gain visibility with healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric infectious diseases by advertising in PIDS’s Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

IDSA's & HIVMA's Journals

Please submit online applications by March 3 for first round booth assignments using IDWeek priority points. Booth assignments and the Exhibitor Service Kit will be available on March 22.

After Sept. 8 we will no longer be accepting booth applications, due to reaching full capacity within the exhibit hall. All inquiries about exhibiting at IDWeek 2024 please send to info@idweek.org.

Begin a Booth Space Application

Exhibiting at IDWeek

Booths are no longer available for IDWeek 2022. Plans and deadlines for IDWeek 2023 will be available in Dec. 2022.

The IDExpo hall will be in Hall A of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The exhibit hall will be open to attendees Thursday, Oct. 20, Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET.

All in-person exhibitors will be included in the virtual exhibit hall hosted by Map Your Show, the meeting app, and printed attendee info guide.

Virtual only exhibitors will only be listed in the virtual exhibit hall.

Booth assignments using our priority point system will be announced on March 18.

Corporate Support

IDWeek welcomes industry partners to support the conference. There are seven different support levels starting at $5,000.  Each level is multi-sourced and can be supported by more than one partner. Custom support packages can be designed at every level.
