BugHub

BugHub

The BugHub is the heart of IDWeek! We are creating a central space where attendees can gather, network and take advantage of different IDWeek and partner society opportunities. Learn more about what’s in the BugHub below.

The BugHub will be in the South Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

BugHub Stage

Do you have a story or experience to share regarding your work in infectious diseases or your life’s path? Or perhaps an interesting or compelling story that you don’t usually see during IDWeek? Then the BugHub Stage is the place for you!

IDWeek is looking for presentations that touch on your experience of working in infectious diseases and presentations that ultimately lead to a greater understanding of our diverse field. Talks will be 20 minutes in length and don’t require a PowerPoint presentation. Presentations will be selected by IDWeek leadership.

Application opens March 26. Deadline is June 26.

Global BugHub Stage

New for IDWeek 2024: the Global BugHub Stage! Much like its counterpart, the BugHub Stage, this new platform is designed for immersive storytelling, the exchange of experiences, and the embracing of diversity.

IDWeek is looking for presentations that touch on your experience of working in infectious diseases and presentations that ultimately lead to a greater understanding of our diverse field. Submissions for the Global Stage should resonate with global narratives and encourage presentations in a variety of languages. Talks will be 20 minutes in length and don’t require a PowerPoint presentation. Presentations will be selected by IDWeek leadership.
