Plan to join us Sunday, Oct. 19, at 12:30 p.m. ET to enjoy light refreshments and meet other first-time attendees at the First Timers Welcome Reception outside B214!

BugHub Stage IDWeek 2024

Stop by the BugHub

The BugHub, located in the B Lobby, is the heart of IDWeek! This is a space where you can gather, network and take advantage of different IDWeek and partner society opportunities. Need a coffee or snack? Stop by Pathogen Pub! Need a question answered? Stop by the IDWeek Info Desk for assistance!

Visit the Expo Hall

The IDWeek Expo Hall is more than just an exhibit space — it’s a hub of discovery, innovation and connection. Explore cutting-edge products, technologies and services that support your work in infectious diseases. Plan to join your colleagues at 10 a.m. ET Monday through Wednesday in the IDWeek Expo Hall for a coffee break, and then again at 11:45 a.m. ET for lunch.

Discover Atlanta

Atlanta is a city that not only blends rich history, world-class dining and vibrant neighborhoods, it is also known as the Public Health Capital of the World.

Planning your stay or looking for things to do while you’re in town? The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau has created a custom IDWeek Atlanta Experience microsite. Explore top attractions, dining, transportation options and more to make the most of your visit.

What to Wear

IDWeek is a professional meeting, so business casual attire is recommended throughout the week. Be sure to pack comfortable shoes — you’ll be doing plenty of walking around the convention center and surrounding areas.

Check the weather before you travel!
IDWeek 2025 takes place in Atlanta in October, when average temperatures range from the mid-50s in the mornings to the mid-70s during the day. Layering is key, especially in air-conditioned meeting spaces.
